Teaming up with producer Ed Rose for the twenty-five percent time, their label debut, Send off Us a Signal, offered fifty-fifty more of the band's earmark musical power pop and rock. Sayre decided to part shipway with the chemical group in July 2005, and he was before long replaced on bass by another Clevelander, Adam Boose, wHO had been fronting the local synth sway dance orchestra Furnace St. Starting work on album number basketball team after their first lineup change in most a decennary, Brandtson looked to invigorate their sound, approaching the writing process from a different angle and embrace Boose's background in electronic music.
